The first two boats are being built at the same time. Work began in October 2009 and will finish in time for the 2010 season and - for Boat 1 - for the Shetland Round Britain and Ireland Race. We hope! Most recent pictures at the top. Last updated 05.05.10.

Topsides and inside have been painted, and bits are going in - sinks, anchor windlass, engines and systems for navigation among others. Launching is planned for May 15th ... Sailing for May 16th ... Qualifying May 17th-18th ...

The coachroof moulding was released on Monday March 22nd, and taken out of the shed and turned over in preparation for being brought down to our yard the next day    
                 

 
 
All the bulkheads are in, we've got rudders - always useful in a race - furniture is in position and ready to be bonded, the engines are being installed and sound-insulated and the position of the spinnaker has been marked out ready for fitting
